We facilitate computer classes, internet connectivity, and technology workshops to bridge the digital divide and enhance the refugees’ skills in using technology for education, communication, and employment opportunities.

 

 

Human & Health Services 

Our Human and Health Services Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide essential human services and promote the overall well-being of refugees. The program aims to address the unique challenges faced by refugees and ensure their access to vital resources, support systems, and healthcare services.

 

 

Youth Mentorship 

At Mwangaza Wa Upendo, our Youth Mentorship Program is dedicated to empowering refugee youth through personalized guidance, support, and resources. We provide academic assistance, career counseling, and personal development workshops to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. By connecting these young individuals with mentors who offer encouragement and advice, we aim to build confidence, foster resilience, and pave the way for a brighter future.

 

 

Case management 

Our Case Management Program is dedicated to supporting refugee families by providing personalized assistance with housing, employment, healthcare, and education. We help them navigate their new environment and build stable, fulfilling lives. 

 

 

Housing and Development Services

This our Housing and Development Services program supports refugee families by helping them findig safe and affordable housing solutions, assisting with lease agreements, and offering guidance for long-term stability and growth.

 

 

Economic Empowerment 

We empower refugee families by offering job training, financial literacy workshops, and entrepreneurship support. This program is designed to empower refugee families by providing them with the tools and resources they need to achieve financial independence and long-term stability.

 

 

Cultivating Roots

Our “Cultivating Roots” program in Michigan is dedicated to empowering refugee families by providing them with the knowledge and skills to engage in agricultural activities. This initiative bridges the gap between the agricultural practices they are familiar with in Africa and those in the United States.

 

 

Workforce Development 

Our Workforce Development Program in both Arizona and Michigan is dedicated to equipping refugee families with the skills and resources needed to succeed in the job market. We offer comprehensive job training, resume writing workshops, interview preparation, and hands-on vocational training in various trades. Our program also provides assistance with job applications, ensuring that they are well-prepared and confident when applying for positions. We connect participants with local employers and provide ongoing support to ensure sustainable employment and economic stability.

 

 

Women Empowerment 

This program is designed to provide refugee women with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve their goals and thrive. This program focuses on fostering independence, building confidence, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.

 

 

Advocacy 

We believe that every individual has the right to be heard, supported, and empowered. Our Advocacy Program, available in both Arizona and Michigan, is dedicated to amplifying the voices of refugees and ensuring their rights and needs are recognized and addressed.

 

 

Sports

Sports have a unique ability to bring people together, transcending language barriers and cultural differences. Our program offers a variety of sports activities, including soccer, and other sports which are popular among refugees. These activities not only provide a sense of normalcy and joy but also help refugees build friendships and a sense of belonging in their new communities.

 

 

Acrobats 

Acrobatics is a vibrant part of African culture, showcasing strength, agility, and creativity. At Mwangaza Wa Upendo, we celebrate this rich tradition by providing refugee youth with the opportunity to develop and showcase their acrobatic talents.
